The Relationship Between Men and Women

Just a few quotes on the relationships between men and women that amused me 😀

Warning: They may be slightly biased

“Feminism is the radical notion that women are human beings.”
Cheris Kramarae

“Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.”
Robert A. Heinlein

“Being a woman is a terribly difficult task, since it consists principally in dealing with men.”
Joseph Conrad

“There are no good girls gone wrong – just bad girls found out.”
Mae West

“Here’s all you have to know about men and women: women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid.”
George Carlin

“Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it’s not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”, here’s an update for you. Nowadays 80%of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it’s not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!”

  1. Every quote is so true and funny, brings me an idea for a new post. You shall be cited. Woman and men are almost like two aliens from distant planets trying to communicate – neither one knowing how to speak the other ones language. Each thinking, “what the _____ are you talking about?”

  2. “There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.” – unknown

I thought “Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus” was insightful. One thing that stood out (over the years): Gray points out that men keep score – ‘I took out the trash. Plus 20 points. I messed up. Minus 10 points. Still up by 10.’ … Whereas women don’t really keep score (or do so very differently) – He took out the trash. Plus 1 point. He messed up. Minus 1 point. I’m still getting used to that.

  3. ……………i think it might be rather a good idea for women and men to work together, to combine each others strengths and help each other with their “not so strengths’ – then again, feminists would have nothing to blame all their problems on if that happened.
